Terms of Use
Effective July 12, 2026
The deal
Kept is a free app for keeping track of your purchases, receipts, and warranty dates. Use it for anything lawful and personal. There's no account to create, so there's nothing to terminate — delete the app and we part as friends.
Your records are yours — and your responsibility
Kept stores everything locally on your device and offers an export. It is a convenience, not a system of record: keep original receipts for anything expensive, and back up your device the way you normally do. Warranty periods shown in Kept are the ones you enter — always confirm coverage with the retailer or manufacturer before relying on it.
No warranty
Kept tracks warranties; it does not come with one. The app is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Moses Smith is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app — including a missed expiry date or a denied claim.
Tips
The tip jar is a voluntary in-app purchase processed by Apple under Apple's own terms. Tips are gratuities: they unlock nothing, and they're non-refundable except as Apple's policies provide.
App Store
Kept is distributed through Apple's App Store, and your use is also governed by Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement.
Changes
If these terms change, the new version will be posted here with a new effective date.
